You will find a rather eclectic mix of topics and information on these pages. They reflect my interests and focus mostly on what I am doing now, researching and writing. Writing fiction is a third career for me after 20+ years as an international television journalist and a five year interlude as 'King of Somewhere Hot'. I established this website to introduce visitors to my writing with the objective of getting published, preferably pre-posthumously. While my focus is on the printed word, some of these projects are quite suitable for television or movie adaptation. The truth, of course, is in the writing. It's either good or it isn't. That's for you to decide.
WHAT'S HAPPENING..THE LATEST
Tom had Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS) surgery April 21st. The surgery was a total success. He also had back surgery. It became infected, badly infected and required a second operation. He was unable to walk and pain was intense. 60+ days in hospital, before he convinced the Indian to throw a freezer through the window so that he could escape. There will be no diary. That would require recall and he wants to just forget the whole experience. He will however answer any communication from Parkinson victims who are considering the operation and want to talk to someone who has been where they are going .
While in New York in late August, Tom was a guest of talk show host Joey Reynolds., the topic Gott Mit Uns and Hemingway. The Joey Reynolds show is broadcast nationwide to more than 100 stations. Give it a listen.
